14/100 I just did some doodling last night. I’ve been working through the exercises in the book “Keys to Drawing with Imagination”. I highly recommend it so far!
I was behind a couple of days, and I missed posting on day 100!! I’ve done 133 pieces in 100 days.
Fountain pen on tan toned paper. This was my third attempt at this drawing. It’s still not perfect, but I was committed to not using pencil at all!
Fountain pen on tan toned paper. This was my second attempt – I decided I really liked her hair, but I didn’t like when I drew her face. I like the suggestion of the form better.
I bought some Gelly Roll gel pens to play around with, and their metallic color seemed to go well with a jellyfish, though it was nearly impossible to photograph because of the reflective properties!
Cityscape in a glass. I captured this during dinner with watercolor ink and Copic markers. I was entertained by how the wall heater looked distorted in the glass and made a kind of urban art.
Not everything can be your best work, but you have to fail to improve. So, I’m sharing all of my 365 days, not just the best ones.
The Seattle Center Monorail running along 5th Avenue.
Stuck in traffic in downtown Seattle. Went down for a work dinner at the Palomino on 5th Avenue.
